Ashish Anand is the Group Head – Human Resources, Religare Enterprises Limited (REL). With a workforce of ~7000 employees across Insurance, NBFC Broking & Housing Finance Businesses, all his efforts are guided towards creating a high performing organisation and making it a Great Place to Work.
Besides HR function, Ashish is also responsible for Admin & Infrastructure function. Having joined the Religare in 2008 to set up its training and development function, he thereafter managed the Business HR function for retail financial services businesses (NBFC, HFC, Insurance & Capital Markets).
During his tenure as HR Head and ManCom member for Religare Finvest Ltd, the organisation was certified as a Great Place to Work® by the Great Place to Work Institute and ranked 50th in Dream Companies to Work for by Times Ascent – which is a testimony of the strong organisational culture created.
Ashish has diverse & multi industry experience of over 18 years in areas such as organisation design & scaling up, system thinking, employee engagement, organisational development, performance management, ESOP & Compensation management across Automobile, FMCG & Financial Services.
He started his career at Piaggio and later worked at Dabur India, where in his last role, he was simultaneously managing various portfolios that included – international business as HR head, HR Business Partner, Sales (West & South) and Corporate HR.
Ashish is a Commerce graduate from BMCC, Pune University, and an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and also an alumnus of ISB – Kellogg executive education program.
Besides work, Ashish loves golf, gymming & spending time with family.
