R Mahalakshmi is Director- Human Resources at Mondelez India (Erstwhile Cadbury’s) and is a member of their Asia Middle East & Africa HR Leadership Team and the India Country Leadership Team.
Mahalakshmi has over 21 years of experience across business consulting, HR consulting and HR Leadership roles across FMCG, Telecom, Paper, Pharma and consulting. She brings with her deep functional expertise in the area of large scale transformation, multi geography M&A & integration, Organisation Design, Talent Strategy and Rewards. She has led a number of business transformation initiatives, handled roles spanning over 20 countries & has worked with talent from over 50 nationalities in her previous roles.
Her last assignment with Bharti Airtel was in the capacity of Senior Vice President HR, where she held two global roles as ‘CLO & Global Head of Talent’ and ‘Global Head of Rewards’. In her previous HR Leadership roles, she has been Head of HR for a paper Company & global R&D HR Leader for a Pharmaceutical major. She has also worked as a business Consultant with Consulting majors like Hewitt, Andersen and Ernst & Young
Mahalakshmi holds an MBA and a degree Physics (Hons). She is passionate about helping people realize their dreams and enjoys travel, new experiences, movies, food, painting, story-writing, and books.
